Sapa region in North Vietnam is visually dominated by the tribal women wearing indigo dyed garb. Many of them wear distinctive, round earrings.

At some point I need to explore more of the northern areas. My second trip to Vietnam was mostly in the central highlands. The north is for sure off the beaten track.
